Overview

The PMW-F5 CineAlta camera shoots superior images with its 8.9 megapixels and its 4K image sensor. The pictures from this camera have noticeably high contrast, rich color reproduction and great clarity. This camera is your ideal choice for cinematic movie making productions and artistic video content. At The Videohouse we use this camera to shoot B-Roll and music videos.

There are many built-in recording modes, all with vivid 4:2:2 color. The 16-bit linear RAW 2K/4K allows for incredible precision and high speed shooting up to 120 fps without cropping. Multiple recording formats includes HD/2K on SxS memory and 16-bit RAW 2K/4K on AXSM™ media Multiple recording formats include MPEG-2 HD422, MPEG4 SStP*, XAVC 2K*/HD and 16-bit RAW 2K/4K**. You can have simultaneous recording on internal high-speed SxS PRO+ memory cards and RAW 2K/4K recording on sleek AXS memory cards using the optional bolt-on AXS-R5 recorder, designed specifically to attach seamlessly.

This camera with its lightweight modular design maximizes versatility in 2D and 3D.  An array of different viewfinders can be attached to this camera for your comfort.
